Mr. MD. Mahmood Ali, Retd. Chief
Engineer and Chairman Quba Educational
Society has
done his B.E (Civil) and joined Govt. service
as Junior Engineer in PWD.
On promotion as Executive Engineer in
the irrigation dept. in January 1975
he was Incharge of Designs of Barrages
& Canal Systems, and other medium
irrigation projects in Central Designs
Organizations. As S.E. he was
associated with the construction and
maintenance of medium and minor
irrigations schemes. He was posted as
Dy Engineer-in-chief in July 1984. |
As Chief Engineer,
he joined as Director & CE of AP
Engineering
Research Laboratories (APERL) in
Feb 89. He was Awarded a merit certificate
by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
(In the cadre of S.E.) for
organizing training program on Computer
Applications for Engineers of Central
Designs Organizations and developing
Software package for stability analysis of
overflow dams.
After retirement as Chief Engineer, he
set up and Engineering Consultancy
Services titled "Noor Engineering
Consultancy Services (Pvt. Ltd. (NECON)"
and as Chairman & MD of NECON, he was
associated with consultancy services for
some of the Educational Institutions also.
The Chief Promoter of Shadan Group of
Institutions invited MD. Mahmood Ali to join
his Esteemed Group of institutions as
Chairman of Quba Educational Society and he
assumed charged of that post in September 1995. Quba Educational Society
through the dedicated and sustained
efforts of the Chairman, Md. Mahmood Ali,
& the Director-Technical, MD. Ahmad
Ale and with the untiring support of the
Chief Promoter of Shadan Group of
Institutions over a protracted period of
about 7 years, finally obtained approval
of AICTE & Sanction of Govt. of A.P.
in May 2002 and established Quba College
of Engg & Tech. At Nellore in the year
2002-2003. |
